Hunter Guide
Hunter Overview
Hunter is an Orc ranged class.
Hunter is similar to Archer because both use ranged skills, bow/crossbow weapons, slows, and controlled pulls.
The difference is that Hunter is more support-oriented and usually tankier. Hunter has more utility, debuffs, control, and party value than a pure damage Archer.
Hunter can farm and deal damage, but the class shines when it helps control fights.
Hunter is strong because he has:
- Good ranged damage
- Strong crossbow setup
- Useful slows and control
- Good support tools
- Good debuffs
- Better survival than fragile ranged classes
- Useful PvP pressure
- Strong party value
- Good farming when played with distance and control
Hunter is weak when:
- He stands too close
- He uses bow with skills that require crossbow
- He ignores support skills
- He builds only damage and has no survival set
- He farms hard maps with no gear switch
- He tries to play like a pure crit class
- He forgets that Hunter is useful because of control and support, not only damage

New players should use Crossbow Hunter as the main route.
Bow is possible, but it should not be the main beginner recommendation. Some Hunter skills or setups are designed around crossbow and may not work with bow. If a skill does not cast with bow, switch back to crossbow.

First Steps as a Hunter
Hunter starts in Golundo Village.
First, claim your level-up rewards from the Event NPC / reward NPC.
Equip your starter armor and starter weapon.
Open your inventory with B and activate:
- Lens Stone+
- Compound Potion
- Pet
- Life Potions
- Mana Potions
Your pet collects drops while you farm. Keep it active.
Use Ctrl + Left Double Click to lock important items.
Hunter is ranged, so your first goal is to learn distance control.
Do not stand inside monster groups.
Start at range, pull small groups, use skills, and move before mobs reach you.

Correct Hunter farming style:
- Buff first.
- Stand at range.
- Pull a small or medium group.
- Slow or control the group.
- Use damage skills.
- Move back before mobs surround you.
- Switch Hybrid gear if mobs hit too hard.
Bad Hunter farming style:
- Standing too close.
- Using bow and wondering why some skills do not work.
- Pulling huge groups with weak gear.
- Ignoring Crossbow skills.
- Farming PvP maps in full damage with no switch.
- Building only crit damage and ignoring support value.
- Forgetting that Hunter is stronger with debuffs and control.
Hunter Weapon Choice
Hunter mainly uses crossbow.
Bow is possible, but crossbow is the safer and cleaner recommendation for this guide.
Crossbow
Crossbow is the main Hunter weapon.
Use crossbow if you want:
- Standard Hunter gameplay
- Better support/control build compatibility
- Crossbow-focused skill access
- Strong ranged pressure
- Better class identity
- Safer guide path for new players
If you use crossbow, keep Power Crossbow active.
Bow
Bow can be used for some skills and experimental setups.
Use bow only if:
- You know which skills work with bow.
- You tested your skill rotation.
- You understand that some Hunter skills may not work with bow.
- You are not copying crossbow setup blindly.
- You accept that crossbow is still the main community direction.
If a Hunter skill does not cast with bow, do not think your character is bugged. Switch to crossbow and test again.

Hunter should use separate skill sets.

Crossbow Damage Hunter
Crossbow Damage Hunter is the main leveling and farming setup.
Use this build for:

Hunter should not be built like a pure crit class.
Hunter is closer to Archer in range, but more support-focused and tankier. Intelligent and Excellent uniques are usually more important than Glorious crit-only logic.

Do not put every skill into your farming macro. Use skills that keep the pull clean.
Crossbow Farming Rotation
Use this flow when farming:
- Buff before pulling.
- Stand at range.
- Pull a controlled group.
- Slow or control mobs before they reach you.
- Use AoE skills once mobs group.
- Use burst skills on stronger mobs.
- Move back before mobs surround you.
- Repeat.

Support / Tank Hunter is the main PvP and party build.
This build is not about top damage.
It is about staying alive and making enemies weaker.

Hunter should not chase alone.
Hunter wins by making enemy movement and damage worse.
Hybrid Hunter
Hybrid Hunter is the safe farming setup.
Use Hybrid when Crossbow Damage kills well but dies too often.

Hunter follows the Orc-side route first.
Route:

Do not skip the early Orc route.
New Hunter players need to know where to go before Asylum.
Levels 1 to 11: Golundo Village
Start in Golundo Village.
Farm nearby monsters outside the village.
What to do:
- Claim level-up rewards.
- Equip starter armor.
- Equip starter crossbow.
- Activate pet.
- Activate Lens Stone+.
- Activate Compound Potion.
- Put potions on your skill bar.
- Kill nearby starter mobs.
- Pull small groups only.
Hunter advice:
Use range from the start. Do not let every monster hit you for free.
Goals:
- Learn basic ranged farming.
- Keep pet active.
- Keep buffs active.
- Get comfortable with crossbow skills.
- Prepare for Tomb of the Dead route.
Levels 11 to 24: Worshipper Settlement → Tomb of the Dead
After outside mobs become slow, move to Tomb of the Dead.
To reach it, use the Worshipper Settlement portal.
How to go there:
- Return to Golundo Village.
- Find the portal.
- Select Worshipper Settlement.
- After teleporting, locate Tomb of the Dead.
- Enter the cave.
- Start with small pulls.
- Farm room by room.
Inside Tomb of the Dead:
- Stand near the edge of a room.
- Pull mobs from range.
- Slow or control them.
- Use AoE only when they group.
- Move before they surround you.
- Do not stand in the middle of a full room with weak gear.
Hunter advice:
This is where you learn the real Hunter farming style: control first, damage second, movement always.
Levels 24 to 31: Trilgard → Expedition Camp Side → Sealed Mine
After Tomb of the Dead becomes slow, move to the next Orc route.
Go to Trilgard and use the portal to Expedition Camp Side.
From Expedition Camp Side, locate Sealed Mine.
How to go there:
- Return to town.
- Travel to Trilgard.
- Open the Trilgard portal.
- Select Expedition Camp Side.
- After teleporting, find the Sealed Mine cave entrance.
- Enter Sealed Mine.
- Farm room by room.
Inside Sealed Mine:
- Test the first room with a small pull.
- Pull mobs from range.
- Use control before damage.
- Rotate rooms instead of waiting in one empty room.
- Upgrade weapon if mobs die slowly.
- Move deeper only when entrance rooms feel easy.
Goals:
- Continue leveling after Tomb of the Dead.
- Improve weapon and accessories.
- Practice controlled ranged pulls.
- Get ready for Corrosion Cave.
Levels 31 to 45: Corrosion Cave near Trilgard
After Sealed Mine becomes slow, move to Corrosion Cave.
Corrosion Cave is near Trilgard.
How to go there:
- Return to Trilgard.
- Locate the Corrosion Cave entrance near Trilgard.
- Enter the cave.
- Start with small pulls.
- Rotate rooms.
- Farm until you can use Asylum Passport at level 45.
Inside Corrosion Cave:
- Pull controlled groups.
- Slow and debuff before damage.
- Do not pull the full room if you are undergeared.
- Use damage set if you survive.
- Use Hybrid if HP drops too fast.
- Rotate rooms instead of waiting.
Hunter advice:
This is the final Orc cave before Asylum. If you die here, do not rush forward. Upgrade your crossbow, stones, or accessories first.
Level 45 to 54: Asylum First Floor
At level 45, use Asylum Passport from level-up rewards.
How to continue:
- Open inventory.
- Use Asylum Passport.
- Enter Asylum First Floor.
- Rotate between main farming rooms.
- Pull controlled groups.
- Use Crossbow Damage or Hybrid setup.
- Farm until level 54.
What to do:
- Do not wait in one room.
- Rotate rooms.
- Use control before AoE.
- Keep Lens Stone+ and Compound Potion active.
- Upgrade weapon if mobs die slowly.
Levels 54 to 67: Asylum Second Floor
Move to Asylum Second Floor.
Farm Succubus and big rooms.
What to do:
- Enter Asylum Second Floor.
- Start with a medium pull.
- Slow or control mobs first.
- Use AoE and damage skills.
- Move if mobs get close.
- Rotate big rooms.
- Farm until level 67.
Hunter advice:
Use your range. If Succubus mobs reach you too often, pull from further away or use Hybrid gear.
Levels 67 to 70: Asylum Third Floor
Move to Asylum Third Floor.
Mobs hit harder here.
What to do:
- Enter Asylum Third Floor.
- Test a small pull.
- Use control before damage.
- Debuff hard mobs.
- Move before mobs surround you.
- Farm carefully until level 70.
If you die too much here, do not rush into Realms.

How to Reach Realm Maps After Level 70
After level 70, Hunter joins the high-level route:
- Ice Realm / Frozen Infinity
- Lightning Realm / Teslon Outpost
- Poison Realm / Evergreen Paradise
- Shinewood / Ellore
- Heaven’s Hell World
For Orc classes, use Trilgard as the main return city in this guide.
Basic travel rule:
- Return to Trilgard.
- Find the Realm / Ice World portal.
- Open the portal menu.
- Select the map for your level.
- Farm and complete the quest.
- Return to the portal when you reach the next level step.
Levels 70 to 120
Recommended path:

Levels 70 to 75: Ice Realm / Frozen Infinity
At level 70, return to Trilgard.
Open the portal menu and select Ice Realm / Frozen Infinity. The menu may display it as The Frozen Infinity.
What to do:
- Enter Frozen Infinity.
- Find Arctic Wretch mobs.
- Start with small pulls.
- Slow or control mobs first.
- Use damage skills after they are controlled.
- Complete the level 70 Realm quest when possible.
- Farm until level 75.
Main reward:
- Ohkeros Rings
Hunter use:

Hunter advice:
Ohkeros is useful because cooldown and damage value help farming. Intelligent is better for damage direction; Excellent is better when +skill rank gives more value.
Levels 75 to 80: Lightning Realm / Teslon Outpost
At level 75, leave Ice Realm.
Return to Trilgard portal area.
Open the same portal menu and select Lightning Realm / Teslon Outpost.
What to do:
- Finish your Ice Realm pull.
- Return to town.
- Go to Trilgard portal.
- Select Teslon Outpost.
- Enter Lightning Realm.
- Farm Teslon Sentry mobs.
- Complete the level 75 Realm quest.
- Farm until level 80.
Main reward:
- Shocker Necklace
Hunter use:
Shocker Necklace is temporary, but useful while progressing.
Later, Hunter should move toward:
- Intelligent Luke
- Intelligent Norgen
- Excellent Norgen
- Excellent Faren
Levels 80 to 99: Poison Realm / Evergreen Paradise
At level 80, leave Lightning Realm.
Return to Trilgard portal area.
Open the portal menu and select Poison Realm / Evergreen Paradise.
What to do:
- Stop farming Lightning at level 80.
- Return to Trilgard.
- Open the portal menu.
- Select Evergreen Paradise.
- Enter Poison Realm.
- Farm Spore Lynx and Plaguefish.
- Complete the level 80 Realm quests.
- Stay here until Shinewood.

Poison Realm is where you start preparing two setups:
- Crossbow Damage setup for farming
- Support / Hybrid setup for survival and PvP
Realm Monster Hunt / Boosted Event Mobs
When Monster Hunt or boosted event mobs are active in Realm maps, prioritize them if your Hunter can survive.
Hunter is useful during event spawns because:
- Range lets you start safely.
- Slows and debuffs control mobs.
- AoE skills help clear groups.
- Hybrid gear makes you safer than fragile ranged classes.
- Support tools help party farming.
Safe method:
- Stand near the edge of the spawn.
- Pull a medium group.
- Slow/control first.
- Use AoE and damage second.
- Move before mobs surround you.
- Switch Hybrid / Tank gear if needed.
Bad method:
- Running into the middle of the spawn.
- Pulling everything at once.
- Fighting while surrounded.
- Forgetting potions.
- Staying in full damage when mobs are already killing you.
Level 99+: Shinewood / Ellore
At level 99, stop using Realm maps as your main path.
Move to Shinewood / Ellore.
How to reach Shinewood:
- Finish Realm farming.
- Return to Trilgard or main city.
- Open city/world portal.
- Select Shinewood or Ellore.
- Enter Shinewood.
- Find the Ellore quest area.
- Start Shinewood quests.
- Farm nearby mobs and collect materials.
Why Hunter goes to Shinewood:
- Realms become slower later.
- Shinewood gives better progression after level 99.
- Shinewood quests give useful materials.
- You prepare for Heaven’s Hell.
- You work toward Realm and gear progression.
- You start needing proper Damage ↔ Hybrid / Support switching.
- You test whether your Hunter is ready for HH.
Useful rewards include:

- Tempering Gems
Before Shinewood, prepare:
- Strong crossbow
- Good rings
- Good necklace
- Armor with useful stones
- Pet active

Hunter advice:
Full Damage farms faster.
Hybrid is safer.
Support / Tank is better if PvP or hard mobs are a problem.
Level 100+: Heaven’s Hell World
At level 100, start Heaven’s Hell progression.
Do not enter HH like a normal farming map.
HH monsters are stronger and Hunter needs better gear.
How to reach Heaven’s Hell:
- Finish Shinewood preparation.
- Return to the portal area.
- Open world/zone portal.
- Select Heaven’s Hell.
- Start with Flames of Hell.
- Move to Bloodline of Life at 106+.
- Move to Blade Storm Mountain at 113+.

Before HH, prepare:

Level 99+
- Move to Shinewood / Ellore.
- Do Shinewood quests.
- Collect Shard of Rebirth and Tempering Gems.
- Use Damage ↔ Hybrid switch.
- Prepare for Heaven’s Hell.
Level 100 to 120
- Farm Flames of Hell, Bloodline of Life, and Blade Storm Mountain.
- Join Monster Hunt when possible.
- Work toward HH armor.
- Use Hybrid if full damage dies.
- Prepare Oreads and better accessories.
- Build toward Excellent Faren.
- Keep damage and support/tank sets ready.
Endgame
- Choose Rank 4 and Rank 5 title skills carefully.
- Build HH armor with good Hunter yellows.
- Upgrade toward Nightfall Armor.
- Build Cynsoura for Crossbow Damage.
- Build Oenone for Support.
- Build Ida or Adrasteia for PvP / survival.
- Use Excellent Faren as main final necklace.
- Set up macros.
- Set up gear switches.
- Keep Crossbow Damage, Hybrid, Support/Tank, Buff, and Boss sets ready.
Common Hunter Mistakes
Mistake 1: Playing Hunter like pure Archer
Hunter is similar to Archer, but more support-focused and tankier.
Fix:
Use control, debuffs, support skills, and Hybrid gear when needed.
Mistake 2: Using bow without testing skills
Some Hunter skills may not work with bow.
Fix:
Use crossbow as the main weapon. Test bow only as an optional setup.
Mistake 3: Forgetting Power Crossbow
Hunter’s main setup depends on crossbow.
Fix:
Keep Power Crossbow active when using crossbow.
Mistake 4: Building Hunter like a crit class
Hunter should not be built around Glorious crit uniques as the default path.
Fix:
Use Intelligent uniques for damage progression and Excellent uniques for skill rank / survival.
Mistake 5: Using Might stones by default
Hunter’s main damage direction is elemental/skill pressure, not pure physical crit.
Fix:
Use Fragment of Ashtal for damage. Use Stamina if dying.
Mistake 6: No Hybrid set
Full damage works until mobs or players start killing you.
Fix:
Build Damage ↔ Hybrid switch.
Mistake 7: Pulling too many event mobs
Monster Hunt mobs are good XP, but they can kill weak Hunters fast.
Fix:
Pull from edge, control first, damage second, move back.
Mistake 8: No support mindset
Hunter is valuable because of control and support.
Fix:
Use debuffs, movement control, and party utility. Do not only spam damage.
Mistake 9: Upgrading bad HH yellows
Nightfall keeps your old yellows.
Fix:
Only upgrade HH pieces with yellows you are willing to keep.
Final Hunter Advice
Use Crossbow Damage Hunter to level and farm.
Use Support / Tank Hunter for PvP, siege, bosses, and party fights.
Use Hybrid Hunter when full damage dies too much.
Use Bow only as an optional tested setup. Crossbow is the main Hunter weapon.
Hunter is strong because of range, crossbow pressure, debuffs, control, support tools, and better survival than pure damage ranged classes.
Hunter is weak when built like a pure crit Archer or when forced into bow without testing skills.
A good Hunter knows:
- where to farm,
- when to switch maps,
- when to control before damage,
- when to debuff,
- when to support party,
- when to switch Hybrid gear,
- when to stop chasing,
- when to replace bad gear before moving forward.
If you are lost after level 70, return to Trilgard and use the portal route:
Ice Realm → Lightning Realm → Poison Realm → Shinewood → Heaven’s Hell.
