RIFTS GAME MODE

 

Rifts is a brand-new game mode for Archlord — while veteran MMORPG players may find the core concept familiar, this is a completely fresh experience within our world. Designed as a fully PvE-focused mode, Rifts offer a deep and dangerous dungeon-crawling adventure free from PvP interference.

Your objective? Survive, adapt, and conquer increasingly difficult Rift tiers. Complete unique missions, defeat rising threats, and earn valuable rewards as you delve deeper into the unknown.

But don’t be fooled by the absence of PvP — competition is very much alive. A global leaderboard will track the fastest Rift clears, and at the end of each season, the most efficient adventurers will earn exclusive seasonal rewards and immortal bragging rights.

 

 


 

Beta Launch & Development Phase

 

As you can imagine, an update of this unprecedented scale in Archlord’s history cannot be expected to launch without imperfections. For months, our team has been focused on building and finalizing the core mechanics of the Rift system — and now, it’s finally ready for your hands.

With the start of the BETA phase, our top priority is to ensure that the system is mechanically sound and stable. Once the foundation is confirmed, we will shift our focus to balancing and adjusting the content — including monster types, stats, skills, and mission objectives.

During BETA, players will be able to enter Rifts without any limitations, and will receive symbolic rewards for completed tiers. Most importantly, your feedback will help us shape this ambitious feature into its final form. Your voice matters.

 

As you can imagine, an update of this scale — unprecedented in the game's history — can't be expected to launch without flaws. We've spent months building and finalizing the core mechanics of the Rift system, and it's finally ready to be experienced.

How to Enter

 

Rift NPCs can be found in the main cities: Tullan, Trilgard, Deribelle, and Stull. Speak with them to access the Rift Entrance Window, where your journey begins.

Daily Entry

Each player receives two free Rift entries per day. If you want to venture further, you’ll need Rift Tickets — which can be earned through other in-game activities or purchased via the Chantra Shop.

 

 


 

 

Progression & Scaling

Every time you successfully complete a Rift level, you’ll unlock access to the next, more challenging tier. With each level comes new missions, unique enemy types, and greater rewards — testing your build, your skill, and your perseverance.

 

 


 

 

Oreads

Oreads are small, ethereal companions that float beside your character like pets — but they’re more than just cosmetic. These spirits can be equipped into necklace slots, offering valuable stat bonuses based on your playstyle.

In addition to their fixed bonuses, Oreads come with randomized attributes that can be rerolled, allowing players to hunt for the perfect stat combinations and further customize their builds.
