Mage Overview
Mage is a Human class built around magic damage, AoE farming, elemental skills, debuffs, and PvP support.
Mage is strong because she has:

Mage is weak because she can die fast when focused.
In PvP, Mage is often one of the first targets because of Antimagic. If Mage survives and uses Antimagic at the right time, enemy buffs can be removed and the fight can change fast.

First Steps as a Mage

After creating your Mage, you start in Anchorville.
Find the red dragon Event NPC. This NPC gives level-up rewards.
Claim your first reward and equip the starter armor.
Open your inventory with B and activate:

Mage uses many skills, so Mana Potions are important.
Your pet collects drops while you farm. Keep it active.

Mage should level mostly as Full Damage Mage.
Switch to Hybrid or Tank Support only when you cannot survive.
Levels 1 to 11
Start outside Anchorville.
Kill low-level monsters near the city.
Use ranged spells. Do not pull too many mobs before you unlock better AoE skills.
Goals:

When Monster Hunt or boosted event mobs are active in Realm maps, prioritize them if your Mage can survive.
Mage is strong during event spawns because:

More mobs means more AoE value.

AoE skills clear groups fast.

Boosted mobs speed up leveling.
-
Event windows are better than slow normal farming.
But event mobs are dangerous.
Do not pull the whole spawn in Full Damage gear if your armor is weak.
Safe event method:

Pull a medium group.
-
Use Mass Snare / Geo Shards / Wind Quake / Confusion.

Cast AoE after mobs group up.

Move before they surround you.

At level 99, stop using Realm maps as your main path.
Move to Shinewood / Ellore.

Bloodline of Life is harder.
This is also a key Monster Hunt area.
When Monster Hunt is active, additional mobs spawn and give boosted EXP. This is a good leveling window, but more mobs means more danger.

Enter Bloodline of Life at 106+.

Start with smaller pulls.

Use Full Damage if safe.

Use Hybrid if mobs hit too hard.
