Patch 542-543
Release Date: June 8, 2026
Features & Changes
Display & Video Settings New
- In-game resolution & window mode switching. New Resolution and Window Mode dropdowns on the Options → Advanced tab. Switch between windowed, borderless windowed, and fullscreen and change resolution on the fly — the HUD re-lays out instantly, no restart required. Native high-DPI / 4K rendering is now supported.
- UI Scale. A new UI Scale dropdown (100%–200%) renders the interface at your chosen size with crisp native sharpness and applies live.
- DPI Awareness toggle. A new Display Mode option (
DpiAware) lets you keep crisp native-resolution rendering (default) or opt into a larger Windows-upscaled UI. Added on launcher. - Launcher is now re-sizeable by the right bottom corner.
- Compact view has been updated on launcer.
- Reset UI Positions. A new button on Options → Advanced snaps every draggable window and the HUD mini-icon cluster back to their defaults (with a Yes/No confirmation).
Chat Safety New
- Personal chat-moderation preference. Pick your tolerance — Peaceful / Moderate / Unfiltered — from a first-entry prompt or Options → Advanced. Toxic messages are now filtered per recipient for normal/local chat and whispers, so you only see what your setting allows. Your choice saves and follows you between sessions.
Combat & Summons
- Summon & pet protection. Monsters can no longer target, attack, or AoE/splash/DoT-damage your summons, pets, and tames. PvP, guards, and summon-vs-monster behavior are unchanged.
Party & Social
- Auto-rejoin on reconnect. If you crash or disconnect during arena/tournament long enough for the grace window to expire, you now automatically rejoin your party when you log back in, instead of being stuck unable to re-invite.
- Party Board count badge. The party mini-icon now shows a live badge with the number of open parties, updating immediately instead of waiting for the background refresh.
HUD & Interface
- Move the whole mini-icon cluster. A new grip handle lets you drag the entire HUD mini-icon cluster as a group; its position is remembered per resolution and re-places correctly when you change resolution.
- Tournament bracket tooltips now show the player's class name.
- /scream chat header. Server-wide screams (Shout of Elemental) now display a compact
[SoE]header instead of the full item name, keeping the chat line clean.
Items & Equipment
- Equip swaps return gear to its bag. Equipping a piece stored in the pet bag — by hand or via the Item Set switcher — now returns the displaced piece back to the pet bag instead of dumping it into main inventory. No more dragging swapped armor back every time.
- Clearer Item Set switch results. A failed/partial set switch now reports “Switch incomplete: N item(s) couldn't be equipped” at the end instead of silently skipping.
- Skill Macro key recorder is now keyboard-layout aware — non-US layouts (e.g. Turkish Q) record and display the correct key icons.
Account & Names
- Non-ASCII character names are now banned. Names with accented or non-Latin characters previously stored as garbled text; new names are restricted to standard characters, and players with affected names are prompted to rename on character select.
Bug Fixes
- Decrease Stun Duration now only shortens normal-attack (option) stuns; skill- and AI-sourced stuns are no longer reduced by the stat.
- Mutation stuck bug. Fixed players becoming permanently stuck as the Mutation monster when a gear-set swap and a Mutation overlapped (most visible in the arena).
- Arena summon/pet deaths. Killing a player's summon, pet, or tame no longer counts as the owner's death (or the attacker's kill) toward arena/team totals.
- Tournament bracket layout. Fixed boxes and tooltips overlapping/stacking on lopsided brackets (byes / single-child semifinals).
