The Never-Ending Topic: Rebalance...

We’re back to one of the most timeless and hotly debated topics — Rebalance.

The most discussed classes right now are Berserker and Summoner, but there are no changes for them in this patch. That’s because most of the complaints we’ve received so far are still quite vague — “dry complaints,” so to speak. We haven’t yet received any feedback or suggestions that include actual numbers or data. Once we do, we’ll identify any real issues and make the necessary adjustments.



Knight

 

In the recent patches, we focused on balancing the effectiveness of critical-based classes. The Knight has returned to its primary weapon — the Sword — but suffered a noticeable loss of power in the arena. To address that:

Blade Sting:
Now applies a +15% Dodge debuff only inside the arena.

Defence Breaker:
Now applies a +15% Block debuff only inside the arena.

Divine Protection:

Now Knight loses 50% less HP when absorbing damage from party members.

 


 

Mage

 

Black Staff Disease:

We believe the 4-meter range on this skill created an unnecessary inconvenience for Mages. Therefore, its range has been increased to 20 meters, in line with other typical skills.

 


 

Berserker

We previously made some adjustments to make the Crit Berserker more viable — and it seems we may have made it too viable, as a significant number of players have now switched to it.

There was a reason we wanted Berserkers to primarily use Axes: they were meant to have a more irregular hit rate, but with higher damage. However, with such strong Block debuffs, that intended irregularity has essentially disappeared, turning those hits into almost guaranteed ones.

Axe Smash:

 

Therefore, we’re reverting Axe Smash to its original state —
it will no longer apply Dodge or Block debuffs, and will only apply a DoT effect.

 


 

Sorcerer

 

Deadman Awaken:

In today’s meta, where crit-based classes feel more effective, the Sorcerer especially struggles due to the lack of a Resistance buff. Therefore, it now needs some of the traits it once had in the original Deadman Awaken.

As a result, a Movement Speed debuff has been added — scaling identically to Attack Speed.

 


 

Elementalist

Although we’ve tried strengthening the Elementalist several times before, it’s still not a class that players tend to pick often. However, we don’t believe this necessarily means the class is weak.

That said, we’ll be transferring the debuffs from the Bomb skill — which has proven rather impractical — to a regular skill to make them more useful. We’ll also be adding a Stamina debuff as part of this adjustment.

 

Bomba:

Its no longer a debuff. Stats have been moved to Spirit Smash.

 

Spirit Smash:
Block and Defense debuffs have been transferred from Bomba. 

Additional now debuffs Stamina.



Slayer

 

In previous updates, we adjusted most classes’ party buffs to encourage greater variety in team play. However, the Slayer was left untouched — until now.

Zen Shield:
We’re transferring part of its Resistance and Skill Block effects to the party buff Moral Courage.

Old Scaling:
5 / 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 / 32 / 35 / 38 / 41 / 44 / 47 / 50 / 53 / 56 / 59 / 62

New Scaling:
7 / 9 / 11 / 13 / 15 / 17 / 19 / 21 / 23 / 25 / 28 / 31 / 34 / 37 / 40 / 43 / 46 / 49 / 52 / 55

Moral Courage:
Now additionally grants Skill Block and Resistance (up to 10%).


Powerful Might:

We don’t want the Slayer to be played as a caster. However, after using Antimagic, or even following a simple cast debuff, being completely unable to use buffs or debuffs feels a bit too punishing.
Therefore, we’ve added a +15% cast time reduction to make the flow smoother.




Summoner

Our dragon has been reaching extremely high effectiveness with just a few skills due to the significant increase in skill ranks. Therefore, we’re reverting the previous adjustments to skill caps.

However, we’re keeping the stun and debuff mechanics we introduced for Larvas, as we’re quite satisfied with how those turned out.

Mighty Wing:

Old scaling: -9/12/15/18/21/24/27/30/33/36/39/42/45/48/51/54/57/60/63/66
New scaling: -6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/22/24/26/28/30/32/34/36/38/40/42/44


Lose Mind:

Skill cap is now back for Cast Time Reduction.
