We have a couple of serious announcements to make within this post. The first announcement we will be making is that changes will be coming to some of the channels within the Archonia discord, we will list the channel changes below and then explain each one in more detail. There are several reasons why we have made these changes. The main reason is that we no longer feel that it is healthy to communicate with you, our players, through the existing channels below and we feel that we are not reaching every player. We will continue to listen to you, but in a private way through tickets rather than through global channels.

1. Suggestions Channel – The suggestions channel will be removed, and a new option will be added to our ticket section where you can raise your suggestions there, if any major suggestion comes through we will still allow players to vote on any changes as we have always done but every suggestion will be private unless stated otherwise. The main reasons behind this change are that we think some players were unable to submit their proposals due to the reactions of their opponents. While some players do behave and care about the server, a lot of players within this community do not care about making the server a better place for other players because if the suggestion has come from another player outside of their guild/union they will downvote it or flame just because of that reason. This change will also allow us to organize your suggestions, and implement them based on importance. We will not be allowing basic suggestions such as “Buff Class” “Nerf Skill” etc. All suggestion tickets that are raised will only be approved and worked on if the player raising the ticket cares enough to give us their reasoning behind why they are suggesting the change.
   
   
   
2. Bugs Channel – Similar to the suggestions channel changes, the bugs channel will also be removed and a new option will be added to our ticket section. Also like the suggestions channel, the reasoning is the same. Players cannot put aside their differences despite it involving something serious like a bug. We will continue to reward big bugs that are reported without abuse.
   
   
   
3. Guild Recruitment – The Guild recruitment channel will be viewable by all players, but only guild leaders will be able to write within the channel. Also, emojis will not be available on this channel.
   
   
   
4. Character Builds – The character build channels will be removed and added to our website through the guide section. We have been steadily increasing the amount of guides and will continue to add more over time. If you would like to write a character guide/build yourself, please contact us.
   
   
   
5. Newbie Channel – No major changes will be coming to the Newbie Channel, all new discord users will have access it this channel immediately, and anyone caught breaking any rule within this channel will be removed.
   
   
   
6. Unmoderated Channel – No changes for this channel since our previous announcement. The only rule we enforce within this channel is No Doxing.
   
   
   
7. Phone Verification – Effective immediately all new users joining the Archonia discord will be required to have phone verification enabled within their discord account. The reason for this change is to try and cut back on multi-account usage and vote manipulation. At this moment in time, players are abusing the option to easily create multiple accounts to bypass discord bans and/or mutes, we will be staying on top of this and anyone caught will be permanently removed from the discord on any account they are found to be using. 
   
   
   
8. Using multiple characters on boss fights – We receive many more complaints about this rule than we expected. Players who are banned for this offense file complaints without any evidence to take revenge on the player who reported them. This takes up a lot of our time and biases the offending player against us. Some of our players want this rule to be removed, so we will put it to your vote and we will make changes according to the result.

We would like to emphasize that we have made these changes to improve communication with you, to listen, understand to you better and for the health of the server. We hope you will all understand this situation. Have fun everyone and see you in the game.
